Tetracycline

Tetracycline Tetracycline is an oral drug used for regulating health conditions that are caused by injurious impact of certain bacteria susceptible to the drug’s effects. Here belong some infections of urinary tract, dermatological infections (skin prone to acne formation), urinary tract infections and some of the sexually transmitted diseases (gonorrhea, Chlamydia, etc.). Tetracycline belongs to the class of antibiotics. It is essential to take Tetracycline on an empty stomach, therefore make sure that you take your daily dose of Tetracycline tablets one hour before your meals and no sooner than two hours after. Do not lie down for at least half an hour after you have taken your Tetracycline pill.

If your medical care specialist prescribes you taking Tetracycline on a regular basis you should not break up your dosing schedule even if you notice some improvements in your condition. However, do not take two pills at one taking or double-up your daily dose if you forgot to take it the previous day.
